James

James is a highly experienced presentation and communication skills trainer and coach. He has worked for many blue-chip companies and large organisations including the financial, pharmaceutical, IT, media, education and government sectors. He is a qualified life coach and regularly works with clients at all levels of management.

Subsequent to gaining a BA in Performing Arts, James spent many years working as a writer and director in the Film, TV and the theatre industries. While running his own production company James made over 30 films and videos, ranging from training and corporate videos to commercials and video pitches for top advertising agencies.

James has taken his knowledge and personal experience in the art of engaging an audience and creating buy-in, and applied it to business communications, particularly in the areas of presentation, pitching, communication and media skills. He has also designed and delivered a wide range of training courses including body language, Influencing, negotiation and interview skills

As a consultant trainer with Skillstudio, James is responsible for delivering our suite of presentation and communication skills workshops and 121 coaching throughout the UK and in Europe. He combines his directing expertise with his interest in psychology and coaching, to develop a unique approach to training and personal development
