Ian

Ian is a highly experienced training consultant and brings a wealth of business experience to all of his training. His background was originally in sales and marketing, working in the City for large financial services organizations including Reuters, Bloomberg and Thomson. He has also worked in the Media & Publishing, Insurance and Government Medical sectors

Ian also has a strong musical background and has performed as a singer in various bands as well as being the musical director for a theatre group. He is a licensed behavioural psychology coach and holds a Masters degree in Strategic Marketing Management and a BA in English and Communication studies. Ian also designs and delivers training in consultative selling; sales for non sales people; building a high performing team; and influencing skills.

Ian’s communication skills training focuses on helping individuals and groups communicate and present ideas with greater impact and purpose. The journey often begins with getting a good picture of what strengths others already see in you, and then exploring ways of developing these to maximum effect. As a consultant trainer for Skillstudio Ian delivers our presentation and communication skills workshops. He brings to his training a highly relevant, energetic and humorous approach.
