OK, so what's special about a Skillstudio course?
Well to start with, its not really a course in the conventional sense of the word. It's a workshop. By that we mean that the emphasis is on interaction and experimentation.
You'll learn by doing, feeling and seeing. Not just by listening. We're not here to just tell you the theory - we are here to help you learn by experiencing it for yourself! We ensure that an energised atmosphere is maintained throughout the workshop to maximise your learning potential.
Skills are acquired through a series of practical exercises that allow you to work intensively on specific techniques such as:-
- tone of voice
- bodylanguage
- eye contact
- gesture
- physical presence
before incorporating them in your presentations.
Presentation practice is integrated throughout the course to avoid a build up of nerves towards a ‘final presentation’.
Feedback is an essential element of the learning experience and is carried out throughout the training by self-assessment, group analysis and trainer review.
